Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This direct hire opportunity is for a Home Infusion Pharmacist position based in Syracuse, NY. The role is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a structured weekday schedule with no weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify intravenous (IV) medication orders for accuracy and safety
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure proper workflow and compliance
- Communicate directly with patients, addressing questions and providing medication guidance
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working in a hospital and home infusion pharmacy setting
- Strong knowledge or hands-on experience with IV compounding is highly preferred
- Hold a current and valid New York State pharmacist license
- Clean background with no DUIs or similar issues
