Fire Alarm Technical Sales Rep

Essential Functions Responsible to grow the business by providing solutions to existing as well as new client base Cold‑Calling and making outside sales calls on a consistent basis in order to seek out new business Partner with internal departments to communicate job scopes and relay customer needs Attract new customers to the organization and up‑sell the already well‑established client base through a combination of outdoor field sales, phone sales, and direct marketing efforts Assist in marketing initiatives related to sales activities, including the development of sales and business Monitors and ensures the progress and completion of assigned tasks Completes and submits all required task‑related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner Completes other projects to manager and customer satisfaction, as assigned Required Competencies Have a strong work ethic and be detail oriented Ability to read and interpret blueprint, schematics, diagrams, instructions, etc. as presented in English Ability to collaborate and communicate with internal and external teams and end users in English Qualifications Education, Experience, and Eligibility Requirements 1–2 years of sales experience in integrated fire/security equipment or outside sales experience Prospecting skills, ability to build customer relationships through consultative selling and promoting customer confidence in Everon.y Lead generation and organic pipeline, planning and forward‑thinking skills Technical aptitude Exceptional customer service, thoroughness and self‑motivation Candidate must have a strong work ethic and be oriented to achievement and positive results Strong negotiation skills and competitive spirit Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with the ability to present to senior level executives within the customer organizations High school degree or equivalent required Experience and strong understanding of in fire alarm life safety systems, CCTV, security and card access systems, low voltage systems, installation and testing Working with General Contractors and Electrical Contractors Must present proof of ability to legally work in the United States Must have a valid driver’s license Must be able to clear a drug screening in accordance with company policy and applicable law Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those the employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job.
