- This evaluationfocused practice in central Texas is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform structured, nontreatment disability assessments for Veterans in a parttime setting; responsibilities include reviewing medical histories, conducting onetime clinical evaluations, and completing federally guided electronic Disability Benefits Questionnaires within required timelines; additional duties include ensuring accuracy, adhering to established protocols, and submitting all documentation promptly, with a competitive compensation package.
- Primary care experience required, preferably in exambased or assessmentdriven clinical work
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active and unrestricted Texas NP or PA license
- DEA eligibility (not required for nontreatment exams)
- Strong computer proficiency and comfort with electronic documentation systems
- Ability to work independently while following structured federal guidelines
