Position Summary:

The Hauler will be loading the mushrooms boxes inside the truck and haul them from the farms to receiving dock, a lot of physical work and fast-moving pace. Able to perform physical tasks: lifting, carrying, climbing and stooping. This position is outside of the bargaining unit, and you will be required to work 6 days per week with one day off which will be assigned by your supervisor. This position starts working promptly at 6am until finished for the day. The finishing time varies from day to day.

Qualification and Education Requirements

• Education and Training: High School Diploma. - Preffered
• Experience: None required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean Driving Record

Role and Responsabilities

• Load and transport product from mushroom houses to dock, as directed by Supervisor and according to company policy.

• Product must be handled with care, so that it is not damaged or disorganized. Keep accurate records of container counts and grades.

• Haul empty containers to and from plants.

• You must be able to work under all weather conditions.

• Must also be able to do repeated lifting of fifty to seventy pounds

• This duty is part of the job and the incentive rate for full baskets is inclusive of this work.

• Perform daily inspection of truck and fill out sheet.

• Fill trucks and reefer tanks with fuel as needed.

• Basic daily sweeping, cleaning, and sanitation of truck(s) according to policy and keep log of these duties.

• You must be punctual. If you need a day off which is not your normal day you should notify your supervisor at least one day prior.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to drive a truck.

• Applicant must be able to perform physical tasks: lifting, carrying, climbing and stooping sometimes at a fast pace.

• Applicant is required to understand basic math skills.
