Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,900 per week

Trusted Talent is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Binghamton, New York.

Job Description & Requirements

We are looking for candidates with:

• At least 2 years of experience in labor/delivery or circulating
• High risk OB experience, able to perform vaginal exams
• NRP certification
• FM certification
• ACLS and BLS certifications

Candidates must be willing to float to post-partum as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, delegate, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients, serving as a primary and/or accountable nurse when designated by unit assignment, considering factors related to safety, effectiveness, competency, cost, and impact.
• Utilize a working knowledge of pharmacology.
• Share responsibility for productivity and effective resource utilization, including staffing, time management, supplies, and services.
• Comply with all nursing practice standards and regulatory requirements.
• Actively participate in and support the Nursing Shared Governance Model by supporting the Unit Council, participating in improvement initiatives, and contributing to peer review practices.
• Engage in professional development, continuing nursing education, and complete all mandatory education requirements.
• Integrate nursing research and current evidence into practice.
• Provide a supportive learning environment for new employees and students.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
