Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist team in Park Ridge, IL, working in a skilled nursing facility to help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Your experience will support interdisciplinary care focused on restoring function and improving quality of life.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree) approved by the APTA.
• Active Illinois Physical Therapy license or ability to obtain state licensure prior to assignment start.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Recent experience working in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Experience with common skilled nursing therapy documentation systems and restorative nursing programs preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel therapy experience.
• Experience with geriatric populations, fall prevention programs, and restorative care planning.
• Strong skills in patient assessment, therapeutic exercise progression, and discharge planning.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 08:30–16:30.
• Workweek: Five 8-hour shifts per week.
