The ideal candidate should have extensive automotive experience and a strong foundation in service management. This role includes overseeing all daily operations, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth. The Store Manager will ensure high standards in vehicle maintenance, repair quality, and operational efficiency, while creating a positive environment for both staff and customers.DutiesOversee daily store operations, including sales, service, and administrative tasksSupervise and motivate staff to achieve performance targets and deliver excellent customer serviceManage automotive repairs and services such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, alignments, suspension, tire services, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repairsEnsure technicians conduct diagnostics accurately using appropriate tools and mechanical expertiseHandle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and promote upselling of additional services and vehicle accessoriesMaintain inventory levels for parts and supplies, and coordinate with vendors for timely procurementOversee auto estimating and service writing to ensure accurate billing and documentationConduct vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control measuresManage cash handling procedures securely and accuratelyDevelop strategies to increase sales through automobile sales initiatives and service promotionsQualificationsProven operational experience with a strong grasp of automotive sales processesExtensive background in auto service management, including mechanical and diagnostic expertiseKnowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures, including oil changes, brake repair, transmissions, alignments, suspension, tire services, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repairExperience in automotive repair shop operations, with familiarity in service technician roles and service standardsSkills in auto estimating, service writing, and customer service excellenceAbility to upsell services effectively while maintaining integrity and customer trustStrong mechanical knowledge with the capacity to oversee complex repairs, such as transmissions or diesel enginesExcellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team of technicians and sales staffEffective communication skills, focusing on sales techniques and automobile sales strategiesThis position presents an exciting opportunity for a committed professional to lead a dynamic team in the automotive industry.
