Mechanical Designer

Project Coordinator Mechanical Designer We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer for a Project Coordinator role to focus on production of construction drawings (using Autocad) to support MEP/commercial building projects. Requirements: Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred 2+ years of experience in Mechanical Design for commercial building/MEP projects EIT is a plus, but not required. Proficiency in Autocad, MS Office (Word and Excel), ComCheck and other energy code forms. Responsibilities: Production of construction drawings using Autocad on all projects assigned. Actively participates in the preparation and coordination of project documentation including site survey, design & construction documents and detailing all aspects of a project to comply with the design intent. Assists the Studio Director, Sr. Project Manager and Project Manager in the administration of the construction contract. Assist in communication and coordination with all consulting disciplines during the design development, construction documentation and construction administration phases of the project. Responsible for completion of the "red-line" coordination drawings. Assists in project close-out activities of projects. Placement By Design
