Job Title: Senior Data Engineer (Azure Databricks)
Location: Remote
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and optimize high-throughput batch data pipelines using Databricks.
- Develop and support cloud-based data solutions and lakehouse architectures on Azure.
- Migrate existing data platforms to the cloud and build new data pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data engineering solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and improve data platform performance and reliability.
Requirements:
- 8 12 years of data engineering experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks, batch processing, and data lake/lakehouse architectures.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure technologies including Databricks, Data Factory, Event Hub, Synapse Analytics, Delta Lake, Cosmos DB, and DevOps.
- Experience with Scala, Git, and Jenkins.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
