Patient Care Associate, C5 Vascular (16 Hours/Nights)

Department/Unit Vascular Surgery -C5 Work Shift Night (United States of America) Salary Range $43,599.00 - $56,679.00 Responsibilities Work under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Collect patient data including vital signs, height and weight, and food and fluid intake and output. Complete personal care of the patient, including bathing, oral care, skin care, dressing, and toileting. Assist with patient positioning, mobilization, ambulation, range of motion, and the use of assistive/prosthetic devices. Perform point‑of‑care testing such as whole blood glucose, and assist with blood draw and electrocardiography. Assist patients with eating and hydration. Participate in care planning and nursing report processes. Report abnormal findings to the RN and patient care team. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment, including safe patient handling and infection‑control techniques. Document all care in the patient record. Promote the availability of resources for patient care through collaboration with Materiel’s Coordinators. Serve as activity companion for patients requiring observation.
