Position Overview: We are seeking a Software Engineer – Web Applications to design, develop, and maintain the company’s e-commerce website and internal web systems. This role focuses on building and supporting online product catalogs, customer interactions, and secure transactions that support business operations. Key Responsibilities: Develop, customize, and maintain the company’s e-commerce website, including product catalogs, inventory management, customer accounts, and online ordering. Implement new web features to improve usability, including product search, filtering, responsive design, SEO optimization, and analytics integration. Build and maintain back-end services and databases to ensure accurate handling of product, order, and customer data. Troubleshoot, test, and resolve front-end and back-end issues to maintain system reliability and security. Integrate third-party APIs for payment processing, shipping and logistics, and customer service tools. Optimize website performance and scalability across desktop and mobile platforms. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to support digital campaigns and customer engagement. Document software workflows and provide internal technical support as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. At least 2 years of professional experience in web or software development. Experience with back-end development and database systems. Familiarity with web development frameworks, content management systems, API integration, and e-commerce platforms. Knowledge and skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Good communication, teamwork and negotiation skills Experience with data backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
