About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Utica, New York. The RN will provide high-acuity critical care to medical, neurological, cardiothoracic, surgical, and trauma patients.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Utica, New York. The RN will provide high-acuity critical care to medical, neurological, cardiothoracic, surgical, and trauma patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive critical care nursing to medical, neurological, cardiothoracic, surgical, and trauma ICU patients.
- Assess high-acuity patients, recognize changes in clinical condition, and initiate appropriate critical care interventions.
- Manage patients requiring CRRT, Prismaflex or NxStage, invasive monitoring, mechanical ventilation, and other advanced critical care therapies.
- Support patients requiring IABP, ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and targeted temperature management within demonstrated competency.
- Maintain accurate Epic documentation and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams while floating to qualified units as required.
- Minimum 2 Years of Recent ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, Medical-Surgical ICU, or Neuro ICU Experience Required; 4-5 Years Preferred.
- Current, Active New York Registered Nurse License Required.
- Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Certifications Required.
- CRRT and Prisma flex Experience Required; Cardiac / Cardiothoracic ICU Experience Highly Preferred.
- Previous Travel Nursing Experience and Epic EMR Experience Required; Ability to Float to Qualified Units as Needed Required.
