Base pay range $60.00/hr - $70.00/hr Position : SAP Functional Consultant Location: Tampa, FL 33605 Duration: 6-month contract to direct hire Pay : $60/hr -$70/hr ============================= Required Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Information/Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or equivalent discipline 8 years of SAP configuration experience in FICA and Billing/Invoicing performing the duties of systems analysis, design, and development 8 years of SAP configuration experience performing the duties of systems analysis, design, and development ============================= Nice to Have Skills & Experience Should have required integration knowledge with other functional areas like Billing, FICO and CRM Understanding of Setup of Main & Sub transaction Experience in analyzing issue in Billing & Invoicing process ============================= Job Description Insight Global is seeking a SAP functional consultant for a large utility client. This role requires candidates who are willing to go on-site in Tampa Florida 3 days a week. The primary duties and responsibilities for this role include implementing software solutions with in-depth configuration and integration, driving interaction with vendor resources, and integrating applications with complex interfaces. The candidate will participate in application development and support teams, function as a technical lead on multiple projects, and act as a subject matter expert in various business unit areas. They will mentor junior staff, develop and drive standard practices, and collaborate with Business Systems Analysts and Business Partners to develop software specifications. The role involves supporting the SDLC phases by assisting with documentation and estimates, executing design, development, and implementation phases, and reviewing deliverables produced by junior staff. The candidate will liaise with business partners to conduct analysis and design efforts for future enhancements, maintain awareness of current business trends, and coordinate system changes. They will participate in business process modeling sessions, support the creation of business process procedures, and develop strong business and system knowledge relating to functional areas. Additionally, the role includes providing training and guidance to staff and AMS contractors, overseeing the development and mentoring of SAP Configurators, and performing budget, forecast, and financial calculations for projects. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
