Job Description Position: Ultrasound Technologist – Breast (Float) Location: Manhattan and Brooklyn, NY Hours: 5/8.5‑hour shifts Monday–Saturday (varied schedule) Organization: New York Imaging (NYI) Key Responsibilities Perform breast exams (screening, diagnostic, and procedures) Prepare preliminary impressions and communicate findings to radiologists/cardiologists Ensure proper equipment maintenance and documentation Follow all radiology protocols and prioritize emergent cases Assist physicians with procedures and biopsies Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Qualifications Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program (or equivalent) RDMS (Breast) required Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred Minimum 2+ years of experience Strong communication and organizational skills What We Offer Salary: Up to $60 per hour Benefits: Health insurance from day one, dental and vision, life insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability, 401(k) Paid Time Off (PTO) and 8 paid holidays (including 2 floating holidays) *New York Imaging is an Equal Opportunity Employer.* Our mission at NYI is to provide the highest‑quality advanced imaging in a patient‑centered, compassionate environment, with the comfort and convenience of being close to home.
