Auxiliary Promotions

POSITION SUMMARY Deliver promotional events and activities at customers' locations to increase brand awareness and sales of company products. This is a full time position, must be available weekends. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Create a fun environment at point of sales to attract customers and promote our products during special radio, TV, and store events. Interact with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner to generate brand awareness to increase sales. Engage and assist customers; influence customer to enter contests and participate on the company's social media outlets; promote customer participation in sharing pictures, videos, and recipes. Prepare and demonstrate new and or promoted products to store customers through sample arrangements and by demonstrating recipes using company products. Provide excellent customer service; assess the needs of the customer to best recommend products; use product slicer to fill orders and or provide samples to customers; complete order process for purchases. Maintain store shelf standards and inventory through various merchandising strategies, including but not limited to rotation of products; ensure pricing matches current promotions and current marketing and promotional materials are displayed. Train and assist store brand representatives Clean area and equipment as required by supermarket and local health code Other duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent One year of sales experience License/Certifications Associates degree in Business, Marketing or related field Fully fluent in English Food product and or consumer packaged goods sales experience Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including skills with Outlook, Word and Excel KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITITES (KSA's) Flexibility to rotate stores and locations Ability to travel to multiple supermarket locations Food handler's permit Driver's License which meets company requirements Personal vehicle which meets company standards for licensing and insurance MVR which meets Sigma driving standards with review by Talent & Culture Customer service skills including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude Must demonstrate strong organizational, time management, and communication skills Fully fluent in Spanish Proven ability to motivate self and others The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently 401(k) Dental insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance And more......
