Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $23/hourShift: 1st 6AM-6PM2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on. 48 hrs. one week, 36 the nextWhy you should apply to be a Water Treatment Operator:

What’s a typical day as a Water Treatment Operator  You’ll be:
  • Ensuring and optimizing process operation for water treatment facilities
  • Guaranteeing the quality of wastewater collected and purified to meet public safety standards
  • Recommending technical developments and improvements to processes
  • Managing subcontractors and supplies to maintain efficient operations
  • Applying quality, environmental, and safety systems in daily tasks
  • Monitoring equipment and facility operations
  • Collecting and testing water samples for parameters such as pH and chlorine
  • Adjusting chemical feeds as required
  • Documenting data to support compliance with environmental regulations
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have experience in water treatment operations or related technical fields (municipal or industrial)
  • Are comfortable working in a regulated environment and following established safety procedures
  • Possess strong attention to detail and analytical skills for sample testing and process monitoring
  • Are able to recommend technical improvements and support process optimization
  • Can effectively manage supplies and subcontractors
  • Have availability for 1st shift work
