This role requires clinical skills and an understanding of radiation therapy. The radiation therapist ensures compliance with safety protocols and may assist in education of future therapists. Assists CT SIM therapist with simulations as needed. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program ARRT certification and current state licensure Knowledge of treatment planning systems, EMR systems (e.g. ARIA, EPIC) and modern radiation therapy techniques (IMRT, SBRT, SRS, IGRT, DIBH) BLS/CPR certified Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills Preferred Qualifications Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program ARRT certification and current state licensure Knowledge of treatment planning systems, EMR systems (e.g. ARIA, EPIC) and modern radiation therapy techniques (IMRT, SBRT, SRS, IGRT, DIBH) BLS/CPR certified Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills Conditions of Employment To promote the highest levels of health and well‑being, the University of Toledo campuses are tobacco‑free.
