Client Relationship Consultant 2 (Banker) - Moriarty, NM ($1,000 sign-on bonus)

Job Description Build and maintain strong client relationships through multiple channels, including in-person, by appointment, and virtually. Assess and address customers’ banking needs, obtaining and processing customer and account information. Demonstrate and educate clients on deposit and loan products and services, recommending solutions based on each customer’s goals and needs. Proactively engage and communicate with clients to identify and recommend appropriate solutions. Maintain working knowledge of consumer and business banking products, including digital products and services. Provide consistent optimal client experience, greeting clients and processing basic transactions. Collaborate with branch team members to best serve clients. Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications. Educate clients on emerging and self‑service digital products to assist with meeting their financial needs. Leverage available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience and deliver operational excellence with accuracy. Obtain and maintain National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z; comply with criminal background and credit checks. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Typically a minimum of three to four years of related retail banking experience or comparable training. Preferred Skills/Experience Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow‑up. Effective engagement and communication with clients. Thorough knowledge of bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Experience using and demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies. Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital‑first mindset. Proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer needs both reactively and proactively. Experience in the financial services industry preferred. Location Expectations This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location for all scheduled work days. Compensation Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour.
