Respiratory Therapist

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification
• Active New Jersey license required
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• RRT required. CRT not accepted
• 1.5 years of strong overall ICU experience
• Experience in adult critical care and emergency department settings
• Experience caring for patients with ARDS, aspiration, COVID, cystic fibrosis, and pneumonia
• Vent management experience with BiPAP, CPAP, flow-by, high-frequency jet ventilator/oscillator, IMV, SIMV, troubleshooting high-pressure alarms, and weaning from mechanical ventilation
• Airway management experience including extubation, intubation assist, nasal/oral airway placement and suctioning, sputum specimen collection, suctioning (ETT, NT), and tracheostomy care/management
• General skills including bronchoscopy, drawing/interpreting ABGs, ET tube, HFNC, hand-held/heated nebulizer, T-piece/trach collar, and iNO

• 3x12-hour shifts
• Hours: 19:00 - 07:30
