Hotel Overview:

Located in the heart of downtown Fairmont New Orleans will be an impressive new addition to Fairmont’s luxury portfolio, offering 250 luxury guest rooms, four food & drink venues, a rooftop pool with expansive views of the city, more than 19,000 square feet of function space, and a 10,000 square-foot spa.

This property is destined to become an illustrious destination in the Central Business District, nearby the city’s renowned and historic French Quarter.

• Clean and service guest rooms, suites, bathrooms, and assigned hotel areas in accordance with luxury hospitality and brand cleanliness standards  
• Make beds, change linens, replenish towels, toiletries, and guest room amenities according to hotel procedures  
• Dust, vacuum, sanitize, mop, and maintain cleanliness of furniture, fixtures, floors, windows, mirrors, and surfaces  
• Carry out evening turndown service. 
• Inspect guest rooms to ensure cleanliness, presentation, functionality, and readiness for arriving guests  
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, missing items, or damaged equipment promptly to leadership  
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of housekeeping carts, storage rooms, linen closets, and operational work areas  
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and housekeeping service needs  
• Follow established cleaning procedures, chemical handling guidelines, sanitation standards, and workplace safety procedures  
• Ensure proper handling and security of guest belongings and hotel property at all times  
• Support deep cleaning projects, VIP arrivals, special requests, and turndown service operations as assigned  
• Collaborate effectively with Housekeeping leadership, Engineering, Front Office, and operational teams to support seamless guest experiences  
• Maintain productivity standards and complete assigned room quotas within established timeframes while upholding quality expectations  
• Uphold luxury hospitality standards through professionalism, appearance, attention to detail, and guest service excellence  
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support hotel operations  

• Previous housekeeping, hotel, cleaning, hospitality, or guest room attendant experience preferred  
• Luxury hotel or upscale hospitality experience preferred  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities  
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards  
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment  
• Strong communication and guest service skills  
• Ability to follow instructions, operational procedures, and cleaning standards consistently  
• Professional appearance and positive attitude required  
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism regarding guest information and belongings  
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred  
• Ability to work flexible schedules including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as operationally required  
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
