Account Executive

The VacancyQualifications:Must have 3 or more years of sales experience in electric power industry in order to be considered (electrical maintenance, electrical safety)Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, Business/Engineering/Technical preferredProven new business sales experience (hunter mentality)Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and effective use of CRMPrefer working knowledge or experience with at least one of the following:SubstationsCircuit breakersRelayCableTransformersDuties:Inside sales activities including:Outbound DialingGenerating new opportunitiesDaily prospectingExisting customers – retain and grow revenuesPursue and close sales leadsResponsible for attaining annual sales quotaLimited overnight travel (i.e., tradeshows, customer visits)Portray AVO in a positive manner – professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity, tactWork with Marketing Department:Reach more customersMessaging with prior customersDevelop growth strategiesAdditional Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Ability to work independently as well as within small teams.Demonstrated ability to multi-task with ability to complete tasks on schedule.Strong organizational skills.External Contacts:Customers and VendorsTravel Requirements:2-3 business days trips, typically planned 1-2 weeks in advance
