Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Sacramento, CA

$17.00 - $22.00/hour

Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join a growing manufacturing team in Sacramento. If you have experience in shipping and receiving, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in accuracy and organization, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment.
Build wooden shipping crates using hand and carpentry tools.
Operate a forklift to safely move materials and finished products.
Process purchase orders, return material authorizations, and non-conformance reports.
Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records.
Inspect finished products prior to shipment using established checklists.
Package products according to customer and company requirements.
Assist with inventory counts and maintain shipping supplies.
Support other warehouse and shipping functions as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Forklift certification required.
Experience using hand and carpentry tools.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds .
Commitment to workplace safety.
