Our client is seeking a Gastroenterologist to work in a Level II Trauma Center serving as the tertiary referral center for people statewide. This unique opportunity offers a diverse patient population, a breathtaking geographical setting, and a cohesive medical team. Location: Anchorage, AK Compensation:
• Salary: $649,656k + $25k for call
• Sign on Bonus: $50,000
• CME Allowance: $6,000
• Relocation: $20,000 Benefits:

• IHS Student Loan Repayment - $25,000 / year guaranteed
• Paid Time off: 6.5 weeks
• 12 paid holidays
• 2 weeks CME

• On-Campus Child Care Schedule:
• Mon- Fri 8AM - 6PM
• May involve On Call Setting:
• Level II Trauma Center providing care to outpatients and inpatients Qualifications & Requirements
• Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Valid Alaska License or ability to obtain
• COVID Vaccine Required Responsibilities:
• Manage outpatients in clinic
• Provide consults for adult inpatients
• Perform 15-25 procedures per week
• See 10-14 patients in office per day
• Handle 7-10 inpatient consults per week
• Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to working with diverse populations Support Staff: • Case manager
• Assistant case managers
• CNA
• ERCP and EUS procedures are not performed by Gastroenterology Overview
