Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Position Type: 13-Week Contract
Weekly Gross: $1,500 - $1550

We are actively seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a Skilled Nursing Facility in Newport, Arkansas for a 13-week contract assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dedicated rehabilitation team while helping patients restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall functional independence and quality of life under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist

• Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional performance

• Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, and safety precautions

• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory requirements

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License

• Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Current CPR/BLS Certification (if required by facility)

• SNF experience preferred but not required

• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
