Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, checking credentials, and following visitor and contractor entry requirements.
• Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and loading area access points to help support authorized movement of people, vehicles, and deliveries throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site policies.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation related to arrivals, departures, visitor activity, package handling, and other access-related events as required by the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other security-related issues in a logistics and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
