Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients, including boarding patients awaiting inpatient room placement
• Monitor and independently read telemetry strips for assigned patients at a 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Collaborate with charge nurses, house supervisors, nurse aides, and patient sitters to ensure safe, coordinated patient care
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management
• Float to similar floors or regional facilities within the network as needed, with applicable rate differential when floated outside of the primary facility
• Adhere to standby call requirements as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN License
• BLS Certification (required)
• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Ability to independently monitor and interpret telemetry strips
• Candidates must not have been employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) at any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity affiliated facility within the past year

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working with boarding or observation patients in a hospital setting
• Familiarity with Epic EMR
• Experience working in environments with oxygen therapy and small volume nebulizer (SVN) treatments
