About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join a multifamily community in Tallahassee, FL . The ideal candidate will have previous apartment/property management experience, a strong understanding of LIHTC/affordable housing , and hands-on experience using Yardi OneSite .

We are looking for someone who is available to start immediately , is organized and dependable, and can confidently support the Property Manager with the daily operations of the community.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager with day-to-day community operations
• Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective residents
• Assist with leasing, applications, renewals, move-ins, and move-outs
• Process resident files and maintain accurate documentation
• Assist with LIHTC compliance and affordable housing requirements
• Review and maintain resident eligibility documentation
• Assist with rent collections and resident account management
• Handle resident questions, concerns, and follow-up
• Assist with delinquency and collection efforts
• Prepare and maintain reports and community records
• Enter and update resident information in Yardi OneSite
• Assist with inspections, notices, and other property management tasks
• Coordinate with maintenance and other onsite team members
• Support the Property Manager with compliance deadlines and audits
• Help maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming community
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Property Manager or Regional Manager

Requirements

• Previous apartment/multifamily property management experience required
• LIHTC experience required
• Previous Yardi OneSite experience required
• Strong understanding of affordable housing/property management procedures
• Leasing and resident relations experience
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional and customer-service focused
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Must be available to start immediately

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an experienced property management professional who can step into the role and contribute from day one. The ideal candidate understands LIHTC compliance, resident files, leasing, collections, and daily apartment operations and is already comfortable navigating Yardi OneSite .
