As part of Garver’s commitment to continued innovation in airport design, our Aviation Team is dedicated to providing the expertise and leadership to assist our clients in meeting both current and future needs nationally on large landside aviation projects.The Aviation Senior Site Civil Project Manager will primarily be responsible for overseeing design teams and managing airport land development projects. The Aviation Senior Site Civil Project Manager must be able to work as a member of a multi-disciplined team, work with diverse clients, and produce complete design phase deliverables, including drawings, specifications, cost estimates, exhibits, technical reports, and narratives. Tasks associated with creating a set of construction documents include drafting, quantity computations, specifications, and cost estimates. Team coordination, project management, staff management, and project quality and financial performance management will also be expected. Past experience with design development software packages including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other civil design packages is required. Responsibilities will includeOversee and manage a landside civil aviation project portfolio for Garver airports nationwide, with construction values reaching up to $100 million. Manage, mentor, and support a team of project engineers, fostering technical excellence and professional growth.Oversee the financial performance and profitability of multiple projects, ensuring successful delivery within budget and schedule expectations.Serve as a trusted advisor to clients while coordinating effectively with internal multidisciplinary teams, regulatory agencies, and external stakeholders.RequirementsBachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited programPE license10+ years of related experience with site civil design, permitting, applicable software applicationsManagement-level knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3DDesign experience that includes drainage, grading, and utilitiesExperience with due diligence, permitting, and jurisdictional coordinationExperience with task management, concept, design, and project management tasksManaging a multiple project portfolioEnsuring design teams adhere to project schedules, budgets and quality control plansStrong written and oral communication skills with both internal employees and external clientsSome travel may be required (approximately 10% with occasional overnight)Preferred SkillsAirport-related experienceGrow With UsGarver offers its employees programs such as company-paid professional memberships, company support for industry licenses and continuing education opportunities that foster a progressive atmosphere.
