Medical Lien Specialist (Full-Time)

Job Details Location: Headquarters – Scottsdale, AZ 85260 Position Type: Revenue Cycle Management Education Level: High School Salary Range: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour Job Shift: Full Time Responsibilities Review patient account status and resolve billing and processing issues in a timely manner. Resolve coding edits and ensure documentation supports the services billed. Verify account ledgers for accuracy and completeness, obtaining missing information when needed. Analyze claim denials, perform re‑billing, appeals, and other resolution steps. Research and respond to insurance or law office correspondence such as Explanation of Benefits (EOBs). Communicate daily with carriers, adjusters, and attorneys to track case status. Review settlement offers and negotiate with law offices when necessary. Prepare analytical summary reports identifying concerns by dollar amount, volume, and accounts settled. Prioritize scheduling of personal injury referrals and coordinate with referring entities. Post settlement payments received from law firms or third‑party liability carriers. Track improvements in targeted denials after process or system edits. Communicate with clients, attorneys, and patients as needed. Qualifications Excellent communication and customer‑service skills. Computer and data‑entry proficiency. Background in legal/liability services preferred. Basic skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other software. Team‑oriented mindset. Problem‑solving skills. Goal‑driven attitude. Attention to detail.
