Part-Time Instructor | Counseling

Part‑Time Instructor | Counseling Position Overview The Department of Counseling invites applications for Part‑Time Instructors for Spring 2026 or Summer 2026. Part‑Time Instructors are hired on a semester‑by‑semester basis to teach Counseling courses. Responsibilities Teach introductory and advanced level courses, either face‑to‑face or online. Attend training and/or review sessions. Academic advising of students. Support student organizations. Participate in program development and assessment. Work cooperatively with faculty and staff in the department and university. Minimum Requirements Earned doctoral degree in Counselor Education & Supervision or closely related field from a CACREP accredited institution. Preferred Experience, Skills, Training, Education Minimum 1‑3 years teaching experience at the University or Community College level. Remote / Hybrid Work Position may be eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies. N.C. A&T employees are generally required to reside in North Carolina, within a 2‑hour commuting distance of their assigned duty station.
