Salary Range : $86,000–$92,000 annually, commensurate with experience, licensure, technical capabilities,

and demonstrated project leadership

Position Overview

We are seeking an Architectural Project Designer or Architect with at least five years of post-graduate

professional experience who can take ownership of projects from Schematic Design through

Construction Administration.

This position is ideal for someone who is highly proficient in Revit, comfortable working directly with

clients and consultants, and capable of managing the day-to-day progression of multiple projects with

limited oversight. The successful candidate will contribute to significant projects, build meaningful client

relationships, and play an active role in the firm’s continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead projects through Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, bidding and

permitting, and Construction Administration.

2. Develop, coordinate, and produce complete Revit-based construction document sets.

3. Collaborate with internal team members, clients, contractors, and consultants.

4. Coordinate consultant disciplines and maintain alignment among the project team.

5. Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and competing priorities.

6. Participate in site visits, respond to RFIs, review submittals, and support construction-phase activities.

7. Mentor and support less-experienced staff while contributing to the firm’s collaborative culture.

Qualifications

1. At least five years of post-graduate professional experience in architecture.

2. Professional degree in architecture, including a B.Arch or M.Arch.

3. Advanced proficiency in Revit.

4. Strong understanding of building systems, detailing, construction documentation, and

construction processes.

5. Demonstrated ability to guide a project from early design through construction.

6. Ability to work independently while remaining actively engaged with a collaborative project team.

7. Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation and Benefits

Slate Architecture offers a competitive compensation and benefits package that includes:

1. Annual salary of $86,000–$92,000, depending on experience, licensure, technical

capabilities, and project leadership
