Position Summary:

The Tax Manager will play a key leadership role by managing an existing book of clients and leading a team of professionals. This position includes oversight of client relationships, staff development, and technical review responsibilities in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships
• Oversee an established portfolio of client relationships, providing proactive tax planning and advisory services
• Supervise and mentor a team of tax staff and seniors
• Ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction
• Stay up to date on federal and state tax regulations impacting client industries
• Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic initiatives and client growth opportunities

Qualifications:

• Active CPA license in the state of Tennessee (required)
• Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience
• Prior experience at a local or regional CPA firm strongly preferred
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple client engagements
• Strong technical tax knowledge and communication skills
