Senior Accountant

We're partnering with a dynamic, privately-held company on the north side of town that's looking to bring a high-impact Senior Accountant onto their growing team. The client has a track record of promoting from within and is targeting someone interested in long term growth opportunities.


Responsibilities:

• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities
• Prepare and post journal entries; reconcile balance sheet, accrual, and intercompany accounts.
• Lead variance analysis for income statement and balance sheet accounts, identifying trends and resolving discrepancies
• Generate and deliver financial reports to support finance and operations decision-making
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and internal controls while supporting audits, process improvements, and ERP enhancements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
• 5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience with a large ERP system
• Manufacturing or distribution experience preferred
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated process improvement mindset
