At Mountain Emergency Animal Center , we are a well-established, progressive, fast‑paced small animal emergency practice located in Blue Ridge, GA. We offer many services to provide the best comprehensive care to our patients including in‑house lab work, radiology, ultrasonography, ability to hospitalize (even in isolation and oxygen), a full surgical suite and intensive care. About Our Practice We are the only ER within a 2‑hour radius Open 24 hours on weekends, Mondays and holidays; 6 pm - 8 am Tuesdays - Thursdays See many medical cases like GI, toxicities, cardiovascular, renal, etc. Perform emergency surgeries like GDV’s, foreign bodies, C‑sections, pyometras and more As a fully equipped emergency hospital, we handle the kind of acute and critical cases you won’t often see in general practice. We are equipped with: Ultrasound, digital X‑ray, and in‑house diagnostic labs Bronchoscope, endoscope, and state‑of‑the‑art anesthesia machines Advanced tools like Ligasure, cautery, and a Snyder unit Located in the scenic Blue Ridge, GA region, our hospital is surrounded by nature’s beauty—lush hiking trails, serene biking paths, and vibrant festivals that bring joy and community spirit.
