About the Position

Job Title: RN - Cath Lab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Active RN license Certifications: ARRT or RCIS preferred Must-Have: Candidates must have Cath Lab experience. Candidates without this experience will not be considered for the role. Description: This is a backfill contract position for an RN in the Cath Lab. The schedule is from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call requirements. Candidates must be available for an average of 9 days on call per month. Weekend coverage is expected to be an average of 1 weekend per month. The unit consists of 3 labs with a patient ratio of 1:1. The team includes 3 staff members per procedure, plus additional support. The environment is busy, and a sense of urgency is essential. Typical procedures performed include standard diagnostic and complex interventional cases, with high volume. Scrubs will be provided by the facility. A collaborative and supportive team environment is promoted. The department boasts a high engagement score, reflecting a positive work culture.
