Customer Service - Beach Attendant

Job Description

The Customer Service - Beach Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring a safe, enjoyable beach experience for all visitors. This position involves assisting guests, handling equipment rentals, and maintaining beach safety. Working either independently or as part of a small team, the Beach Attendant directly reports to the Beach Manager and Operations Manager. The role includes regular weekend and holiday shifts with opportunities year-round in a dynamic outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer assistance and support
Ensure beach safety by monitoring conditions and enforcing rules
Manage equipment rental operations and inventory
Lifting up to 50lbs and perform physical outdoor work
Communicate clearly with guests and team members
Operate basic point-of-sale systems and related technology
Drive trucks or trailers if able, using power tools as needed

Preferred Qualifications

No prior experience necessary
Strong customer service and communication skills
Effective problem-solving and time management abilities
Experience with cash handling and teamwork
Able to lift up to 50lbs comfortably

We have been in operation for over 15 years, helping the visitors and locals of Jacksonville Beach (and the surrounding beaches) enjoy their time with the convenience of 5-star resort hospitality. We rent items like beach chairs, beach umbrellas, bikes, surf and boogie boards, baby cribs and other baby items, grills, wagons and other beach vacation needs. We pride ourselves in focusing on the experience, and making sure the visitors can have the best beach day with little to no effort!
