About the Role

Join our team in Benton Harbor, MI as a Precision CNC Lathe/Mill Machinist II. Your day starts with blueprint review and verifying tooling and offsets. You’ll load programs, run first-article checks, and fine-tune machine parameters to hold tight tolerances. Throughout the shift, you’ll keep a sharp eye on quality, document production and maintenance activity, and coordinate with teammates to resolve issues quickly. Safety and cleanliness are part of your routine, and you actively contribute ideas that make our processes better.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and run CNC mills and/or lathes per engineering drawings and specs.
• Monitor cycle performance; adjust tooling, offsets, and feeds/speeds to optimize results.
• Inspect parts (in-process and final) to verify dimensional accuracy and specification compliance.
• Record production data and machine maintenance activities accurately and on time.
• Partner with peers to troubleshoot machining challenges and improve outcomes.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workstation.
• Support continuous improvement to elevate quality, efficiency, and reliability.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; machining technical certification preferred.
• At least 2 years of CNC machining experience in a production environment.
• Fluent in reading blueprints/technical drawings and using them to set up jobs.
• Solid understanding of CNC programming and machine operation principles.
• Hands-on experience with a variety of CNC machines, tooling, and workholding.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Clear communication skills and a positive, team-first attitude.
