Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; recent experience with fresh open-heart patients; experience caring for mixed intensive care patients; minimum of 2 years of experience; nursing license accepted for submission.
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification; National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts from 6:45 to 7:15, with a minimum of 36 hours per week; every-other-weekend requirement.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The assignment supports a 30-bed cardiac intensive care unit with typical patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2. A proctored dysrhythmia test is required onsite on the first day and must be passed. The role includes care for ventilated patients and floating to intensive care, telemetry, or medical-surgical units as needed. Unit orientation is one day.
