A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available Opportunity: Electrophysiology Technologist - EP Tech Radiology Cardiology Job Details: • Work 3x12 day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) or 4x10 day shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) • 2 days of late case coverage per week required • No on-call or weekend requirements • No floating requirement • 2 years of experience required • 1 previous assignment or 1 month per-diem required • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCES/RCIS • Preferred certifications: ARRT, Fluoro permit • Must have experience with Cerner, electrophysiology lab, hemodynamic monitoring and ablations • EKG experience required: inpatient, outpatient, obtaining vitals, sinus node rhythms • Equipment experience required: Philips/Siemens X-Ray machines, GE Micropacer • Preferred equipment experience: 3D mapping systems, various ultrasound machines, laser lead machine • Perform cardiac electrophysiology studies, cardioversion, device implants and explants • Handle atrial and ventricular ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator procedures • Average daily caseload: 18 cases • Work with adults and geriatric patients • 5 procedure rooms available • Scrubs provided • 20 hours of orientation provided Facility: This prestigious healthcare facility is a short-term acute care teaching hospital recognized as one of the top 50 heart and vascular centers in the country.
