Grill Cook

Silverado Sales INC is seeking a Grill Cook to join our onsite team in Lincoln, NE. Position Summary The Grill Cook prepares high-quality grilled menu items in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This role supports a clean, safe, and organized kitchen while consistently delivering meals that meet our standards for taste, portioning, and presentation. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely production, proper food handling, and smooth service throughout each shift. Key Responsibilities Cook and plate grilled items according to established recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards Maintain grill, cooking stations, and utensils in a clean and safe condition before, during, and after service Follow food safety practices, including proper storage, labeling, and temperature control Prepare ingredients and support basic prep tasks to keep service running efficiently Coordinate with kitchen staff to meet ticket times and maintain smooth workflow during peak hours Required Qualifications Ability to work in a kitchen environment and stand for extended periods during shifts Basic knowledge of grilling methods and safe food handling practices Reliability and punctuality with a strong commitment to producing consistent food quality Willingness to follow established procedures for cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a restaurant kitchen, grill station, or similar cooking role Familiarity with kitchen timing and workflow to support high-volume service Experience following recipes and scaling production to match demand Food safety training or certification (or willingness to obtain) Compensation Hourly rate: $17 - $20 #J-18808-Ljbffr Intuit Inc.
