This role is ideal for someone who values teamwork, precision, and helping patients access essential medications.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational & Medication PreparationWork closely with the Operations team to prepare and dispense medications, including:CountingLabelingPacking medicationsAssist with daily maintenance and inventory tasks such as:Unpacking medication deliveriesReceiving and organizing supply ordersPrescription Processing & Clinical SupportProcess prescriptions for patients in the ambulatory/specialty setting.Collect complete and accurate medication histories.Ensure prescriptions are ready for pharmacist review and verification.Patient & Care Team CoordinationCommunicate coverage details, payment responsibilities, and prescription status to patients and clinical staff.Collaborate with pharmacists, social workers, and specialty pharmacy teams to ensure medication access.Provide timely follow ? up to resolve outstanding documentation or coverage needs.Insurance & Financial VerificationDetermine insurance requirements for pre ? certification, coverage limitations, and patient responsibility.Gather financial and clinical information needed for claim adjudication.Escalate coverage issues promptly to clinical teams.Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED — RequiredCertified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) — RequiredPlease upload your current certification when applying.1 year of retail pharmacy technician experience — PreferredWe believe that the best care for our patients starts with the best care for our employees.
