Systems Administrator

Overview Your combination of people skills and technical expertise makes you the team hero. As a systems administrator you will install, support, manage, and maintain enterprise data centers, server environments, production servers, and user workstations, including Windows Active Directory, Cisco's Unified Computing Systems, and EMC SAN products. Your work will optimize security, reliability, and operations in support of national security, protecting the general public and vital workforce. Responsibilities As a Systems Administrator on this project, you’ll: Install, support, manage, and maintain infrastructure to optimize security, reliability, and operations of high‑demand critical assets. Help customers overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission‑critical network. Turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning to development teams and end‑users. Collaborate with senior systems administrators to develop new methodologies. What You Need Experience working in cloud services such as AWS. Experience automating processes within cloud environments such as AWS. Experience with CI/CD pipelines. Ability to ensure compliance with cybersecurity configuration standards. Ability to apply critical thinking to resolve technical challenges. Ability to clearly communicate with development teams and end‑users. Top Secret clearance. Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience administering, developing, or maintaining cloud and on‑premise systems, or 12+ years of experience in lieu of a degree. Nice If You Have Experience with large enterprise systems. Experience with cloud tools such as Kubernetes or Terraform. TS/SCI clearance. Master’s degree. Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Top Secret clearance is required. Compensation Annual salary range: $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (USD). Health, life, disability, and retirement benefits. Work Model Remote: You may be required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility at times. Onsite: Work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility.
