Global Technology CDAO Data Owner Lead

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience in Business, Technology, Data Management, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Background in data governance, data management, risk management, business transformation, consulting, program management, or similar areas.
• Strong grasp of data governance, operating models, data risk management, data products, data quality, metadata management, and regulatory expectations.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and deliver results in complex, matrixed organizations.
• Experience leading strategic initiatives, organizational change, or capability improvement efforts.
• Strong analytical, communication, and executive presentation skills, with the ability to turn complex ideas into actionable business outcomes.
• Experience using technology tools to support governance and operational results, including advanced Excel, Visio, Alteryx, Power BI, and workflow management platforms.
• Experience creating dashboards, process documentation, metrics reporting, and executive-level presentations.
• Experience conducting maturity assessments and developing strategic roadmaps to strengthen organizational capabilities.
• Preferred: Experience supporting enterprise-scale data strategy, governance, operating model, or transformation initiatives.
• Preferred: Knowledge of financial services regulatory, risk management, and control frameworks.
• Preferred: Experience using AI, Generative AI, LLMs, agents, or automation to improve governance, reporting, risk management, or data management processes.
• Preferred: Familiarity with modern data governance, data architecture, data lake, metadata management, and data catalog platforms.

• Act as the primary advisor for an aligned Technology Sub-LOB, offering strategic guidance and support to Data Owners and senior leaders.
• Help execute data governance, risk management, compliance, and data management responsibilities through established frameworks, processes, tools, and reporting.
• Lead data management maturity assessments and work with stakeholders to develop, execute, and track roadmaps that advance organizational capabilities and support business goals.
• Strengthen governance and operating model effectiveness by defining clear roles, responsibilities, accountability, and engagement models across Data Owners and key partners.
• Provide meaningful metrics, reporting, and insights that give leadership visibility into progress, risks, opportunities, and overall data management effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI, Generative AI, and automation to improve the efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness of data management and governance practices.
• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the GT CDAO by improving tools, processes, best practices, and service offerings.
