Job Description: IT Project Manager


The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing IT projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires managing cross-functional teams, aligning project goals with business objectives, and ensuring seamless communication among stakeholders. The IT Project Manager plays a critical role in driving the success of IT initiatives, including infrastructure upgrades, software implementations, and system integrations.


Responsibilities:

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate resources, including team members and vendors, to ensure successful project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Communicate project updates, timelines, and milestones to stakeholders.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.
• Facilitate team meetings, provide leadership, and resolve project-related conflicts.
• Manage documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing IT projects, such as infrastructure upgrades, software deployments, or cloud migrations.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools like MS Project, Jira, or Trello.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification (preferred).
• Technical background or experience in IT infrastructure, software development, or system integration (preferred).
