Bartender – Isla Bella Beach Resort

Job Summary

Isla Bella Beach Resort is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and guest-focused Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team.

This role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while preparing and serving cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages in a luxury resort environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced atmosphere, enjoys creating memorable guest interactions, and takes pride in providing elevated hospitality and service.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive, and personalized service to guests at all times
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty drinks
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter orders into the POS system
• Build rapport with guests and create a welcoming, engaging bar atmosphere
• Maintain extensive knowledge of beverage menus, ingredients, garnishes, and preparation methods
• Utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience and increase sales
• Ensure the bar is properly set up, clean, organized, and fully stocked before, during, and after service
• Complete side work including stocking liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, fruit, and supplies
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to leadership
• Ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with state laws and resort standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout all bar areas
• Assist fellow team members as needed to support efficient operations and exceptional guest service

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of bartending experience required; luxury resort or hospitality experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and beverage preparation techniques
• Excellent communication and guest service skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Must meet state minimum age requirements to serve alcohol
• TIPS certification or equivalent preferred (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
