Base pay range $75,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr Our client is one of the largest Facilities Service companies in California developing its commercial portfolio in Northern California and is seeking a strong, financially-minded Accounting Associate for a territory with active client facilities. Job Description: The primary responsibility of the Accounting Associate is the day-to-day management of accounts payable and receivable for the portfolio, working closely with the property management team. The role requires ensuring all accounting tasks are completed timely and accurately for month-end processing, including revenue and expenditure processing. Additional responsibilities include: Processing vendor invoices with proper coding, approvals, and compliance Preparing weekly accounts payable aging schedules and processing payments Performing monthly credit card and bank reconciliations Collaborating with internal teams and vendors to resolve invoice/payment issues Maintaining vendor records and relationships Processing year-end 1099s and 1096 reports Transmitting monthly billback invoices and recording rent receipts Maintaining documentation and internal controls for AP processes Providing accounting and administrative support as needed Position Requirements: 3+ years of accounts payable and receivable experience in the real estate industry using Yardi software Proficiency in general accounting, GAAP, and FASB principles Extensive knowledge of accounts payable, receivable, budgets, and expenditure control Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Yardi programs Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, with relevant work experience Compensation: $75,000 - $80,000 annually Additional Details Seniority level: Associate Employment type: Full-time Job function: General Business, Finance, and Accounting/Auditing #J-18808-Ljbffr Ascend Talent Solutions
