Globe Business Interiors, a leading office furniture installation company in West Chester, Ohio is looking to add to our team. Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Provides assembly and installation of the following: new and used modular furniture, high-end systems furniture, office chairs, shelving units, new and used casegoods, file and storage cabinets, etc. according to technical instructions and specifications.
• Unload delivery trucks and move material to job site.
• Provides service which includes disassembly, reconfiguration and reassembly of existing modular and systems furniture according to design and plans.
• Identifies existing furniture damage and provides repair services to the extent possible.
• Complete special projects and other duties, as assigned.
• Follows GBI processes and completes paperwork completely and accurately.
• Cleaning of job site and removal of all trash from job site.
• Represent GBI/RCF Group in a professional and positive manor; maintaining excellent customer relations.
• Teamwork as well as working independently are a key for this position.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Must be able to pass background, drug screen and motor vehicle insurance requirements.
• Able to read blueprints and associated documents.
• Excellent communication skills; written and oral.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Must have tool knowledge and mechanical aptitude.
• Proven organizational skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Traveling out of town is occasionally required.
• Overtime hours are occasionally required.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands/fingers or feel, handle and feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel , crouch or crawl; and talk/hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit.
• Must frequently lift and or more up to 25-50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to temperature changes and workplace hazards. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
