This role is crucial to building strong client relationships and ensuring satisfaction with our billing and claims services.Key ResponsibilitiesMake an average of 50 outbound calls per day to clients and patients to follow up on medical claims, verify information, and resolve billing discrepancies.Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, handling calls and emails with professionalism and a positive attitude.Maintain a strong, working knowledge of health insurance plans, medical billing codes (ICD-10, CPT), and claims processes to provide expert assistance.Act as a patient advocate, identifying and resolving billing issues with a focus on quick, effective solutions.Collaborate with internal billing specialists and external insurance providers to resolve complex claim issues and ensure timely processing.Assist other departments as needed, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.Help improve our processes by providing valuable feedback on system needs and potential changes.Skills & QualificationsExperience in a call center with a focus on health insurance, medical billing, or medical claims is a must.Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.Proficient with data entry and computers, including Microsoft Office products.Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.Experience in a customer service or sales role is preferred.Compensation & TrainingPay for this position is $22 per hour.The first week of training will be in-person in Springfield, MA.After the initial training, the position will be hybrid or fully remote, depending on business needs.Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance and an incentive recognition bonus (eligibility applies).This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and professional individual to secure a new position.
