Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Norwalk, Connecticut. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position available in Norwalk, Connecticut. This role involves assisting with invasive cardiovascular procedures, including angioplasty, within a hospital setting. The technologist will prepare surgical trays, monitor patient hemodynamics, assist during procedures, and ensure all equipment functions properly to support clinical teams effectively. Job Details: Schedule: 8-hour shifts, days, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Required Qualifications: State of Connecticut Radiographer license, ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) certification and/or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification through CCIM, a minimum of 1 year Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology (EP) Lab experience, and the ability to work July 30, 2024, through August 31, 2026. Preferred Qualifications: None specified. Float: Float rotation may be required. Additional Information: Provides assistance to hospital and medical staff by scrubbing and utilizing sterile technique during all invasive cardiovascular procedures including angioplasty. Prepares surgical trays and materials, monitors patient hemodynamic status and ECG, collects and enters patient data, and assists with post-procedure documentation. Calibrates and performs daily quality assurance checks on radiographic, hemodynamic, and other equipment used. Assists cardiologists with arterial closure devices, sheath removal, and achieving hemostasis. Pre-procedure patient interviews include obtaining medical history, reviewing lab work, educating the patient and family, and obtaining informed consent. Responsible for preparing the cath lab, calibrating equipment, and positioning the patient for procedures.
