Senior Mechanical Engineer – HVAC/Plumbing
A growing multidisciplinary engineering firm is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with 8+ years of consulting experience to lead HVAC and plumbing projects and support continued growth. This is a client-facing opportunity for a licensed Mechanical PE who enjoys project leadership, technical design, mentoring, and business development.
Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial, institutional, industrial, and government projects
- Manage multiple projects, budgets, schedules, and design teams
- Perform HVAC calculations and engineering analysis
- Lead multidisciplinary project coordination
- Develop proposals and support client development activities
- Review drawings and ensure compliance with applicable mechanical, plumbing, and energy codes
- Mentor engineers and designers while contributing to a collaborative office environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Active Mechanical PE license required
- 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience
- Strong HVAC and plumbing design experience
- Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD
